Grapes of wrath was fiction and was about a family who went through the struggles of the dust bowl and soon had to move. This book was created after the dust bowl of course, and was written by John Steinbeck in 1939. Grapes Of Wrath has been read throughout high schools everywhere because of its great historical significance. The book also had a movie made of it in 1940 starring Henry Fonda and was directed by John Ford.
